在一片茂密的森林里，生活着各种各样的动物。有一天，一只小小的蚊子飞到了森林中央的一头强壮的狮子面前。
蚊子对狮子说：“勇敢的狮子啊，我并不害怕你那锋利的爪子和强大的力量。我要向你挑战，看看谁才是这片森林中真正的王者！”
狮子听了之后，轻蔑地笑了笑，说：“你这小小的蚊子，竟敢如此狂妄？难道你不知道我是百兽之王吗？”

In a dense forest, there lived various kinds of animals. One day, a tiny mosquito flew to the center of the forest where a strong lion was resting.
The mosquito said to the lion, "Brave lion, I am not afraid of your sharp claws and great strength. I challenge you to see who is the true ruler of this forest!"
The lion laughed at him and said, "Little mosquito, how dare you be so arrogant? Don't you know that I am the king of beasts?"
The mosquito was not afraid and buzzed around the lion's nose, challenging him further. "Come on, let us settle this! But unlike you, I won't solve problems with brute force."
Then, the mosquito began buzzing around the lion nonstop, looking for his weakness. The lion tried to swat the mosquito with his paws, but the mosquito was too quick, always avoiding him at the last moment. The more the lion swatted, the angrier he became, yet he could never catch this clever little insect.
Finally, the lion gave up and lay down to rest. Meanwhile, the mosquito continued flying in circles, enjoying his supposed victory.
At that moment, a spider crawled down from a tree. Seeing the mosquito's proud demeanor, it quietly approached. When the mosquito stopped to catch his breath, the spider quickly shot out its silk threads and wrapped up the mosquito.
Struggling, the mosquito cried out, "No! I shouldn't have mocked those stronger than me!"
Even though the mosquito regretted his actions, it was already too late. The spider carried its prey back to its nest, and the mosquito became the spider's meal.
This fable teaches us that even if we temporarily achieve success, we should not become complacent. Sometimes, what seems weak can be our ultimate downfall.
