Hello! This is my first English diary, and I'm very excited to share something about my summer vacation with you. The summer holiday has been full of fun and relaxation for me.
During this time, I spent most of my days with my family. We went on a trip to the countryside where we stayed in a small village surrounded by green hills and fresh air. It was so different from city life. We helped farmers pick fruits like peaches and apples, which tasted much sweeter than those in the supermarket. I also learned how to make dumplings with my grandmother. She taught me the traditional way, and it was quite an interesting experience.
Besides traveling, I continued reading books that interested me. One of them was a storybook called "Charlotte's Web." It made me laugh and cry at the same time because of its touching friendship between animals. Reading not only broadened my knowledge but also improved my vocabulary.
Of course, there were moments when I relaxed at home as well. Watching movies and playing board games with my younger brother kept us entertained. Sometimes, we even played hide-and-seek in our backyard, just like kids do in old stories.
Now that the summer is almost over, I feel grateful for all these wonderful experiences. They have given me great memories and prepared me for the new school term ahead. I hope next year’s summer vacation will be even more exciting!
Goodbye for now! I’ll write another diary soon.
