Monday
Today was the first day of my winter vacation, and I felt so excited! After finishing all my homework last night, I woke up late this morning. My mom made me a big breakfast of eggs, toast, and orange juice. It was delicious!
After breakfast, I spent some time reading an English novel. I love reading stories in English because it helps improve my vocabulary. Today, I read about a young girl who traveled to a magical forest. She met talking animals and learned important lessons about friendship.
Later in the afternoon, I helped my dad clean the house. We dusted the furniture, vacuumed the carpets, and even rearranged the living room. It was tiring but fun. We laughed a lot while working together.
In the evening, I called my best friend, Lily. We talked about our plans for the holiday. She said she wants to learn how to bake cookies, so we decided to try baking together next week.
I ended my day by watching my favorite TV show. It’s always nice to relax after a busy day.
