【初一英语作文我的暑假】Last summer, I had a very interesting and unforgettable vacation. It was the first time that I went to the countryside with my family. We stayed there for about two weeks, and it was a great experience.

During the day, I helped my grandparents take care of the vegetables in the garden. I learned how to plant seeds and water the plants. It was hard work, but I felt happy when I saw the green leaves growing. My grandpa told me that everything needs time and patience to grow.

In the evening, I often played with my cousin in the field. We ran around and chased each other. Sometimes we sat under the big tree and talked about our school life. It was so relaxing and fun.

I also visited some places near the village. We went to a small river and swam in it. The water was cool and clean. I even caught a small fish with my hands, though it slipped away quickly. It was a funny moment.

At night, I loved looking at the stars. There were so many stars in the sky, and it felt like the whole world was quiet. I couldn't sleep because I was too excited about the new experiences I had.

This summer vacation was different from the previous ones. I didn’t just stay at home watching TV or playing games. I learned a lot from my grandparents and enjoyed the simple life in the countryside. I think this is one of the best vacations I have ever had.

I hope I can go back again next summer. I will miss the fresh air, the peaceful environment, and the happy moments with my family.
